Description

Sirius is a 3GeV 4th generation synchrotron light source located in Brazil, where five beamlines are currently operating by using provisional planar IDs for comissioning. By the end of the first phase of beamline implementation, six undulators will be in operation, five comercial IDs and one in-house designed delta undulador, which is currently in construction. This poster will present the magnetic characterization instruments which are being used during the delta undulator prototype development and will be used to measure and validate the comercial IDs, as well as the IDs' surrounding magnetic components, namely the feedforward horizontal and vertical orbit correctors and skew quadrupoles. A Hall probe mapping bench, a streched wire system, a rotating coil bench and a Helmholtz coil will be presented as well as their use during the delta undulator development. Future plans for the magnetic characterization room will be briefly discussed.
